Dr. Yassmin Parsaei is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthodontist. Raised in Savannah, GA, she brought her southern warmth to vibrant NYC! Dr. Parsaei has a gentle approach and detail-oriented personality and loves helping each of her patients achieve their best smile.
Dr. Parsaei earned her bachelor’s degree from Yale University, her Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, and both her orthodontics certificate and Master of Dental Science from the University of Connecticut. She further specialized with a Surgical-Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship at NYU Langone Health, focusing on treating children and adults with complex dentofacial deformities.
Committed to high-quality, personalized care, Dr. Parsaei consults closely with each patient and their families to understand and meet their goals. She has extensive experience with metal, ceramic and lingual braces, clear aligners, surgical orthodontics, temporary anchorage devices and many other appliances. Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Dental’s Orthodontic residency program.
Dr. Parsaei’s passion for service extends beyond the office where she volunteers at Mission of Mercy Clinics and Give Kids a Smile NYC program. In her spare time, she loves to explore Central Park with her French Poodle, Theodore (who is training to become a therapy dog!).
